Tips for students Prodigality as a pitfall for students. Prodigal students are rampant in the school systems today. Such students loiter about outside the school walls while the school lessons are on. Many of our streets in the cities are filled with student wanderers who left their homes for school but would not stay in the school to learn. Such students are given to riotous living like the prodigal son in the bible (Luke 15:13). You will find them in restaurants, food vendor’s corners, snacks shops and in the market places while they should be in their classes, truants are fond of socializing with the opposite sex, playing games and roaming about the streets during the school hours. Traits of truancy manifest when a student habitually comes late to school and gets home late after the school. Truants are not students of success.
